This is the aforementioned Ministry of Medicine. It’s a happy place.

In case you missed it, and you probably have as I don’t expect you to be hanging around here on non-comic days, we posted our new vote incentive yesterday: Part One of “The Call” — a new comic set in the world of The Becoming that will allow us to explore things outside of the main story. We’ll try to update a new strip every week, consisting of 3 panels and a brief recap for those that may have missed an installment or two. Yes … this page has completely undid all the years of hard work I’ve gone through to overcome my phobia of doctors and hospitals … now I’ll have to start taking Klonapin before going to see doctors again … thanks a lot …

My compliments to the creators. I usually read the first three pages (after the cover) and than decide weather the comic is worth reading, and you totally nailed it.

I was intrigued by the close-up of her teeth. They don’t look entirely human, do they? Werewolf? Vampire? Or something else entirely…

I think the point is that they are *becoming* pointed like that, just like her eyes are *becoming* red – all as a result of that nasty-looking green stuff. And now I think they are torturing her in order to brainwash her into being their killing machine. I think we’re finding out how they make Snipers.

Oh, and oh dear – we’re having quite a thunderstorm right now – the thunder is so intense it actually shakes the duplex … almost as hard as when they blow up some rocks over at the quarry (you wouldn’t believe how much I freaked out the first time I heard an explosion at the quarry and felt the ground rumble – I thought we were having an earthquake! X-D )

Ooooookkkaaaayyy … *looks at Stig Hemmer’s comment, back at Amy’s, back at Stig Hemmers …* I’m impressed by the synchronicity … Or were you planning to post some sort of response?

Oooh, that lightning was close … the thunder was practically simultaneous and went on and on and on and then rattled the windows at the end … I’d probably be worried, but my cat is non-nonplussed (what is the opposite of nonplussed? Plussed? First the painful plussing process? There are so many words like that in English … like renowned – are you nowned first? Like Willow tells Buffy … “yes, first you have to go through the painful ‘nowning’ process” … )
