The Becoming

UPDATED: Well, I’m back on some antibiotics for a couple weeks but unless it worsens, I should be good to go. Unfortunately, DK lost a few hours of work by driving me up there and then sitting in the waiting room with me, so I’m going to stick to my original estimate and say the page won’t be up until Monday. She is going to try and prove me wrong on this, and I’m wishing her luck in doing so, but I want to play it safe for now. Thanks everyone!

I just have the most rotten luck.

Last night I coughed twice and it hurt my chest. This was quickly followed by fever & chills and later a sore throat. So, yeah, back to the doctor’s office for me. DK is going with me and I have no idea how long this is going to take or how much it may affect the production of Page 94 so I’m going to just move that page to Monday unless you read here otherwise later today. We’ll update the second we know something more. Thanks.

Okay, here’s the deal: due to the last minute rewrite, DK lost more time than either of us had wanted and the page still isn’t complete. Right now it still needs to be colored and lettered and that’ll take a few hours yet, so we decided to just hold off on uploading it in the hope to turn next week into a cool little “event week” for us by updating on Mon, Weds and Friday since we kind of blew it this week.

Also, the pages will be available at Midnight on their respective days.

P.S. I’ll update this post a bit later, DK had a cool little gif for her linework process on this page but she sent me the wrong file to upload so I’ll need to wait til she has as second to resend it. Soon though!
