And that’s a wrap for Chapter 1. And, yeah, she was there the entire time, she was the “guard” to the right of Justin on the previous page. We hid the hair so as to not tip the reveal. So, hopefully, it wasn’t too predictable or expected.

Well, guess that’s confirmed then, eh? Still, how did William know something was amiss, right? Hmmm…

ANNOUNCEMENT: As you know by now, Thursday sees the the conclusion to Chapter 1. However, you won’t find Chapter 2 next Tuesday, but in it’s place will be part 1 of our first “interlude”. This comic will run for approximately two weeks (with a guest artist) and then DK will return immediately thereafter with Chapter 2.

Chapter One concludes one week from today. Granted it’s not a major milestone, but it is a milestone and our first at that so we’re in pretty good spirits right now.

–

The Call Part 5 will go up over the weekend. There were some…”technical” difficulties that are much too embarrassing to go into right now, but on the flipside of that, I can pretty much guarantee the next strip will be ready on time. Speaking of, DK is taking over coloring duties on those starting with the next installment.

–

So..you guys seem to be rocking the vote for us at TWC – we’ve managed to float between 100-103 all week. Not bad at all for a comic in our 2nd month, so a huge thank you to everyone for that. Oh, and a post wouldn’t be complete without an obligatory vote link, now would it?

–

I guess we’re going to start merchandising the comic a little now as we’ve had – quite surprising to us both – requests for prints. We always figured we’d do some at some point, but it’s extremely flattering to have requests for them. DK is going to do some touch ups and then we’ll be placing a small order to see how it goes.
