Chapter Four

Yep, every Sentry is an automation as are all the Snipes and maybe a few others we have yet to meet. In case you’ve forgotten, we first saw the Sentries here and the Snipes, of course, made their debut here. This might also explain why, if the Disciples are so powerful, they were the ones escorting Jeanne back into the city in Chapter 1 since regular humans would be, presumably, no match for her if she were to put up a fight.

The real big news on this page is the “him” Belmont makes reference to. We’ll be meeting “him” in the next chapter and maybe learn some more things about the inner workings of Bellac in the process.

As for next week…about time to check in on Jeanne & Oscar don’t you think? See you next Monday!

Chapter Four

No, that’s not a mistake or continuity error, Belmont is perfectly aware that he is pulling a double shift with his unit later that night, he was just trying to give Dumas a hard time.

Chapter Three

C’mon now, you didn’t really think we’d kill Belmont off before he gets to use his “assault arm” that Amelia’s put so much work into, did you? ;p

Next week concludes this chapter proper and we’ll be offering up a new survey to try and gauge how we’re doing so far. Participation is greatly appreciated!

Speaking of conclusions, we’ll be prematurely concluding our 2nd webcomic, heaven/HELL on Monday as it just hasn’t been able to find an audience. In it’s place we’re considering going back to our original plan and do a spin-off of The Becoming, although if we do so, it won’t be the originally planned idea/concept that would’ve found Captain Belmont as it’s lead. It’d be something entirely new and, yeah, a possible deal-breaker, but I’d be doing the art. But that’s a LONG ways off at this point. What do you think about a possible spin-off? Yay, nay?
