So, I took pages 133 & 134 and tried to smoosh them together so we can finally get through this chapter. Admittedly, it didn’t quite yield the results I’d hoped for, but I think the gist of it is there. At least, I hope, anyway.

At some point, when I have the time, I plan to go back and make Panel 1 on this page a proper establishing shot. As it is right now, there is a bit of a disconnect from the previous pages to this one and the flow is completely botched. Adding “redraw panel 1, pg 132 as est.” to my “to-do” list right now…

Yep, every Sentry is an automation as are all the Snipes and maybe a few others we have yet to meet. In case you’ve forgotten, we first saw the Sentries here and the Snipes, of course, made their debut here. This might also explain why, if the Disciples are so powerful, they were the ones escorting Jeanne back into the city in Chapter 1 since regular humans would be, presumably, no match for her if she were to put up a fight.
The real big news on this page is the “him” Belmont makes reference to. We’ll be meeting “him” in the next chapter and maybe learn some more things about the inner workings of Bellac in the process.
As for next week…about time to check in on Jeanne & Oscar don’t you think? See you next Monday!
No, that’s not a mistake or continuity error, Belmont is perfectly aware that he is pulling a double shift with his unit later that night, he was just trying to give Dumas a hard time.
